2. How many lights do I need for an island or table?

• The "Rule of Three": For kitchen islands, using three pendants is a standard design choice to create balance.
• Spacing: If using multiple lights, space them 24 to 30 inches apart from center to center. Ensure the outer lights are at least 6 inches away from the edge of the island or table.
• Proportion: For a single statement piece over a round table, the fixture's diameter should be roughly 1/2 to 2/3 of the table's width.

3. What kind of light quality is best?

5. Maintenance and Safety

• Cleaning: Dust regularly with a microfiber cloth. For glass, use a lint-free cloth and mild cleaner to avoid streaks.
• Safety: Always turn off the power at the circuit breaker before installation or deep cleaning. Ensure the ceiling box is rated for the weight of the fixture, especially for heavy chandeliers.

6. How often should I clean them?

Perform a light dusting monthly. In kitchens, where grease accumulates, a "deep clean" with mild soapy water is recommended every 3–6 months to prevent the fixture from looking dull or sticky.

7. Can I use any bulb?

No. Never exceed the maximum wattage listed on the fixture’s socket. Doing so can cause overheating, melting components, or even a fire.

8. What should I do if my light starts flickering?

First, check for a loose bulb or a loose wire connection in the ceiling box. If the connections are tight, the bulb may be reaching the end of its life or is incompatible with your dimmer.

9. Is my ceiling strong enough for a heavy fixture?

Standard electrical boxes can support up to 50 lbs (22.6 kg). For heavier chandeliers, you must install a fan-rated brace or additional timber support between ceiling joists.

10. Can I shorten the cord myself?
